Touched down yesterday. The weather is purrrfect! Was raining on monday, but it's been sunny since. Temps still about 4-7 degreesC but the sun helps.
Went to UBC today. Gourgeous campus. Haven't seen other unis yet but this looks good. However, the campus life seemed a little watered. Prob cuz this week is reading week. Meaning, students should be studying at home. But of cos, not many do that. That includes Karen, our tour guide of sorts around the beautiful campus. Got some pictures and vids.. but too lazy to upload them now.. maybe tmr=)
The bus system seems pretty easy to navigate. But feel kinda concerned for my mom though. It's our first time overseas without my dad and it is definately very new for her. Just have to let her know that her little children are now grown up and can take care (we try) of themselves.
God is with us. And i pray that He'll continue to be and guide us as we move about the new land.
Tmr we head to Robson street street to check out the hopefully vibrant city life. it's one of the attractions here at vancouver. but dunno how attractive it is. From wad i've seen so far, i understand why people are so entralled by our little island in SEA. so much more activity there. Well, it's too early to say anything, haven't seen all yet.
Well... hai.. i gotta continue writing my script... not writing, rather adding things to it. i'm really honored to be given this role. And believe me, i luv SP! and had so many many great experiences there. In fact, haha, i MAY have caused my brother to be a slight SP fanatic and my HwaChong sister to be a little tinie bit green-pastures-on-the-other-side-ish. (Don't know how many ppl actually understand me.. ) ANYWAY, right now, i sorta shifted gear already, and am not exactly in a very poetic mood. *singlish* like that how to write?
Well, i think i'll pick procrastination for now. Cheers and goodnight to all!
